Gary and I are engaged. We got engaged Friday December 7, 2007. We went down to the Malahat Mountain Inn and he asked me while we were overlooking the Saanich Pennisula. We are planning a May 31, 2008 wedding.

Here are a couple pictures from our short trip to the States. Gary back went out while we were in Seattle so it was a quick trip to Oregon with no camping. :( Anyways we enjoyed a Mariners game while we were down there and enjoyed the view of Seattle from the Space Needle. We took the MV Coho ferry from Victoria to Port Angeles. This gave us an appreciation for the BC Ferries as the parking on the boat was incredibly tight and as you can see my car actually got hit.

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. Gary and I were able to enjoy the Celebration of lights fireworks from Nanaimo tonight. They were a little small and no music but it reminds us how close we actually are to Vancouver and how the ferry system sucks. We also enjoy watching a very bright orange moon rise over the horizon. It was cool. I wish I had my camera but I didn't.

Here are some pictures from our trip to Tofino. We went Whale Watching and saw a pod of 6 humpback whales and they came within 10 feet of out boat. It was really cool.

Here are some pictures from our Carribean Cruise. The first one is me swimming with Calypso (the dolphin). We probably spent about 30 minutes with the dolphin. The second picture is us in the dinning room before enjoying our lobster dinner. Next is a picture of our room. My bed was the top bunk that our room boy dropped out of the ceiling each night and put away each morning. Then the last picture was the four of us dressed up for one of our formal nights.
